LEADING THE FIELD

The Smile Company is one of a handful of practices in New Zealand where the provision of Implants is provided in a seamless and highly efficient manner.

Dr David Blair has had special training to not only provide the surgical treatment for Implant Fixture placement, but also to provide the superstructure for the final restoration. This eliminates the need for referrals to outside specialists and all the treatment is provided in our rooms.

In March 1995 The Smile Company was one of only 16 Dental Teams in the country to introduce an exciting new development in gum health care.

The official introduction of New Zealand trained Dental Hygienists into the Dental work force now provides the New Zealand public with very necessary and more sophisticated Gum Therapies in general dental practices where this service has been incorporated.

We have come a long way since providing a quick “Scale and Clean.”

Today our Hygiene therapies are considerably more involved and appropriate allowing more time for adequate instruction, improving Gum Health to optimum levels and re-care programmes for longer term maintenance.

We are proud to have customers who now make up a group of people with the healthiest mouths in Christchurch.

The use of Intra-Oral video cameras within our practice enables you to see more easily how we provide your treatments and how well we improve your gums and teeth.

PROVIDING A COMFORTABLE ENVIRONMENT

Recently we worked really hard to reinstall The Smile Company upstairs at 75 Cambridge Terrace. The interior was totally gutted and refurbished. We all love it!

You will find our new environment has a wonderful ambience. The views over the river are lovely and tranquil, and our rooms are very comfortable. The access to our building is very good for a central city position, with easy parking along our frontage.

The City Council has rebuilt our street several times recently and there is also a major new car park around the corner in Cashel St.
